Inside, Outside + In Between is a 2018 Ragdale Ring proposal by CLUAA. Situated beneath the canopy of existing trees, a simple fence construction cordons off part of the Ragdale grounds to become a private area for collective viewing of Ragdale's annual summer theater productions. The ropes' narrow vertical spacing would create the effect of a semi-private or semi-translucent barrier - a type of blurred boundary - while the bright pink jovially emphasizes the effect of spatial delineation. Chairs provide individual seating while custom woven mats using the same rope define multi-size "interiors" designating group seating areas.
